Start from end of September 2010 and last up to the termination date of the Contract for Project Management Services for Uijeongbu LRT Project, estimated by June 2012.
[General]
The Reporting Manager will assist in Uijeongbu the Project Manager for the Uijeongbu LRT Project.
He/She will report to the Project Manager about technical and organisational issues and to the MRSC(Multinational Railway Systems Corporation)Korea Branch Manager about administrative issues.
The procedures for reporting will be defined by the Project Manager but the Reporting Manager can propose any modification that he considers necessary to improve or simplify the work.
[Main activities]
The Reporting Manager shall render the following services, but not limited to:
· Collect the information for the Uijeongbu LRT Project reporting from reporting correspondents designated by Uijeongbu Co., Ltd, the Constructors including the E&M suppliers and the Civil Works Contractors and other possible sub-contractors;
· Organise and prepare the reporting information for the periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual and unscheduled) Project progress reports;
· Assist the Project Manager to analyse and summarise the reporting information;
· Maintain sustained relations with his reporting correspondents in order to be able to collect accurate information, and with the Uijeongbu Co., Ltd. to get feedback about the reporting and project management activities;
· Transmit all the reporting documents and related correspondence to the Document Recording assistant for filing and archiving;
· Assistance to the foreign experts when assigned to the Uijeongbu LRT PM office;
·Liaison with MRSC(Multinational Railway Systems Corporation) headquarter for subjects related to the Project;
· Participation in various kinds of meetings related to the Project.
The precise scope of services will be elaborated by the Project Manager when necessary.
In addition the services shall be performed in accordance with instructions, which may be issued, from time to time by the Company or by Project Manager of Uijeongbu LRT Project.
[Main job requirements]
· Can write, read and speak in English;
· Good writing abilities in Korean (official letters and reports);
· Has a good understanding of industrial/civil projects;
· Has had a previous experience within civil works project, preferably on an infrastructure project (highways, roads, railways….);
· Is able to integrate a multinational team and to establish good work relations, inside his team and with external companies;
· Have some skills in team management;
· Bachelor degree with minimum 10 years’ experience is preferable.
