JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Seoul, Korea or Tokyo, Japan (preferably Korea)
Job Description:
This position is responsible managing the technical relationships with Mobile Terminal Manufacturers located in Japan / Korea and other locations in Asia. This position will drive inclusion of features and technologies needed for success in the US market manage expectations of the product and escalate issues as required to obtain the focus and decisions required to launch products on time within budget. This position is also tasked with monitoring, analyzing and reporting on mobile communication products and
technology trends in the Asia Pacific market, and share finding with the product development team.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
* 3+ years of product management/product development within the
wireless industry.
* Must be successful at working independently, and possess drive and energy needed to be responsible for the terminal lines acceptance in T-Mobiles markets.
* A strong understanding of GSM, and wireless products required.
* Must be fluent in Japanese and Korean as well as English.
* Must also have a solid understanding of both Japanese and Korean
cultures.
* This position will be located in either Japan or Korea.
* Extensive international travel required.
