Application Engineer/Mechanical part (clamp & connect)
[Objective]
Work closely with Area Sales Manager to provide product/solutions that fully meet customer specifications.
[Primary Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned]
- Present MNC product engineering capability and actively support customer engineers in developing new products.
- Identify from the MNC Group portfolio of products and brands, the target product ranges that fits to the market needs.
- Support sales activities in Korea.
- Manage enquiry and quotations following the processes and regulations within the company.
- Negotiate with customer on new projects and existing business.
- Work with customer for post nomination projects to ensure project-launching on-time.
- Manage commercial negotiation related to engineering changes with customers.
- Assist in ad-hoc tasks which might be assigned from time to time.

This position reports to the Area Sales Manager of NORMA Korea Inc.

[Supervisory Responsibilities]
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
[Education and/or Experience]
- Basic degree in Engineering and a post graduate qualification in sales and marketing.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position and environment.
- Previous experience working in a multi-national company.
- Experience in or setting up Automotive and Industry Customers.
- Demonstrated ability to penetrate new markets and to close deals.
- Age : 28-35
- Academic Background : Diploma/Degree in Engineering
Major : Mechanical/Automotive Engineering is preferred
[Other Skills and Abilities]
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels within an international manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and spoken English is a must.
- Local national or permanent resident speaking and writing the local language.
- Ability to develop an internal, informal network.
- Proficient in the use of standard software packages.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast paced and evolving environment, self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Annual Salary: Base Salary Maximum KRW 40 mil (payable on 12 months’ basis)
