Sales Manager, Datacenter and Embedded Solution Sales in Multinational Company

Manager, Sales, Datacenter and Embedded Solution Sales in Korea
Datacenter and Embedded Solution Sales is responsible for driving MNC embedded and datacenter sales in Korea, engaging with executive decision makers at both embedded customers and IT end-user customers to grow MNC Embedded, and Server business with both EPYC and Radeon Instinct business.
This will include working closely with multiple multinational datacenter server OEMs (HPE, Dell, SuperMicro, Cisco, Cray and Taiwanese ODM’s+) and their partners/ distributor, local system integrators that serve end-user customers.
1) Embedded : Directly working with both OEM’s and Internal Business Unit to maximize Embedded Business (design-in, design win, business forecasting, and post-sales activities) as well as to establish long-lasting customer relationship. Manage business via distributors include training, design and business review.
2) Datacenter : Directly engaging with server end-user customers with strategic focus to maximize EPYC and Radeon Instinct business in Korea market. Work closely with server OEM’s and their partners/distributors. local system integrators as well as MNC’s global multinational datacenter server OEM Account Sales, Marketing, and Channel teams.
• Account Management :
o Embedded : Samsung Group, LG, Medical Market, other Korean OEM’s as well as Operators and Institutes.
o Data Center : Data Center, HPC (Univ. / Government / Automotive / EDA), Enterprise, Public Sector and others)
o Establish and enhance strong executive-level relationships with OEM’s and IT end-user decision-makers to understand their needs, and translate those into directions for relevant MNC business units and other teams to enable wins
o Account management to build 3 years plan and market development activity to support the business
• Drive sales of MNC Embedded, EPYC and Radeon Instinct business.
o Develops business development strategies and creates annual business development plans for relevant area to reach required business objectives and revenue for both sell-in and sell-out activities
o Meet personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products
o Participated with other region’s account managers and sales management, in development of sales strategies; helps identify target accounts and opportunities within the framework of the organization-wide strategy.
o Lead, integrate and coordinate business strategies, priorities and plans with regional internal stakeholders (MNC) to build business acumen and pipelines.
o Monitors competitive activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated
o Have a detailed knowledge of embedded and server market and architecture
o Capable to communicate technical discussions with customers
• Understand and analyze IC datasheet and schematics (work plus with this capability)
BS/BA; MS/MA or MBA preferred, in electronic engineering or similar or business management with sales management experience
[Experience & Skills]
• 15+ Years of Experience in technical sales related experience and positions for datacenter server products
• Direct engagement and relationship with
1) Embedded Customers,
2) Large Enterprise IT end-user decision makers
• Ability to deliver technical presentations to senior level executives.
• Solid knowledge of datacenter infrastructure server and storage solutions, software ecosystem, and workloads
• Knowledge of various ISV applications geared to Financial and Enterprise markets
• Persuasive communicator with the ability to present and influence customer and internal executive decision makers
• Relentlessly focused on results-oriented success - must have strong drive to win and achieve incredible results
• Operational excellence, passion and positive attitude
• Proven track record in sales with ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills – should be collaborative, motivating, and able to lead across organizational boundaries
