Test Chip Staff Engineer (Technology)
Title: Staff Engineer (Test Chip)
Dept: Process Characterization Unit, Technology Department
[JOB SUMMARY]
• Support TC design campaign with design resources and methodology.
[JD attached]
• Position based in Kuching, Malaysia
• Reports to Senior Module Manager
• At least 8 - 10 years’ work experience in foundry environment, especially in semiconductor devices.
• Compulsory knowledge:
• Understanding of semiconductor device operation and device characterization.
• Semiconductor physics, CMOS device knowledge is a must.
• Understand of data analysis and statistical methods.
• Familiar with Layout software and project management skill is an added advantage.
[MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES]
• Help define global TC strategy, and establish state of the art and best in class methods.
• Synergize and standardized TC design tools and methods, to share with overall TC design community.
• Support TC handling using new data base approaches.
• Communicate best ideas and working practices, with distributed layout design community in R&D, Quality, YE and Process Modules.
• Unify and simplify exiting methods.
• Establish MNC standards and create corporate identity in Test Chip areas.
• Support efficiency projects such as layout automation, P-cell generation, and centralize database to create an easy accessible library for test structures and general Test Chip handling.
[AUTHORITY LEVEL]
1. Project partner of new technology test chip development.
2. Representative of process characterization team and project team.
3. Management of sub-projects, working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
[POSITION REQUIREMENTS]
1. Qualification: PHd/Master/Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering (Material, Semiconductor Physics, Microelectronic).
2. Experience: At least 8 - 10 years’ work experience in foundry environment, especially in semiconductor devices.
