Manager, Sales (North Asia)

[Location ] Seoul. Korea

The Asia Pacific Business Development team has the mandate to grow MNC Government Systems business in the region by promoting and selling its products, solutions, and services. As the leader of the Business Development team for the North Asia Region (Republic of Korea, Japan, Republic of China and People¡¯s Republic of China), you will directly contribute to this expansion. Desired location for the position is in Japan, the Republic of Korea or Singapore. Other locations will be considered based on candidate qualifications.

[Specific Work Details (JD)]
• Responsible for the sale of company products, services, and solutions to assigned accounts or within the North Asia Region. Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products, services, commodities, etc. within the North Asia Region.
• Responsible for workforce planning, strategic enterprise growth, and organizational development initiatives: Talent Management; Performance Management; Change Management; Training.
• Responsible for orders forecasting, strategies and plan achievement for the North Asia Region.
• Provide customer intelligence
• Develop and manage the budget for the North Asia Region: Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
• Develop contacts with existing and potential customers.
• Advise third-party representatives on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
• Understand existing and anticipated customer requirements and identify company products and services to fill such requirements: Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
• Prepare sales plan and campaigns, business plans, and product development plans.
• Keep informed of new products and other information of interest to customers.

[Desired Qualifications]
• Fluent in English. Language skill in any of the other countries is a benefit.
• Experience leading a business development team in complex multi-year pursuits in the aerospace or other highly technical industry.
• Experience developing formal pursuit plans involving a cross-functional team.
• Experience working with government and large OEM / Prime contractors
