EPI Process Staff Engineer - Thin Film
[JOB SUMMARY ]
•To setup, sustain and improve EPI process together with others process engineers.
• Become mentor to process/ senior process engineer.
• To monitor processes and ensure products quality is maintained without any process excursion.
[JOB RESPONSIBILITIES]
•Lead EPI process/recipe set-up, modification, improvement for new product development.
•EPI Process performance monitoring, improvement, modification, fine-tuning and control.
•Ensure SPC/FDC/Recipe interlock/ DC Spec monitoring and problem solving are duly done for measurement and monitoring at very professional way to prevent any process drift /excursion.
•Ensure overall yield improvement activities
•Initiate and lead all continuous improvement project with regards the cycle time, cost reduction, capacity, process optimization, defect improvement, process matching etc.
•Coordinate project for process improvement activities and process issue trouble shooting.
•Work with process engineers on the process running condition versus tool capability.
•Provide technical advice and guidance to Process/Senior Process Engineer.
•Train up unexperienced process engineers to the level they can handle independently.
•Drive improvement actions for departmental related KPI
•Plan and execute process trainings to relevant people when necessary.
•To contribute towards the achievement of quality objectives by complying to the quality operating system and participating in continuous improvement activities (defect prevention, reduction of variation or prevention of waste).
•To contribute towards the achievement of the EHS objectives by complying to the EHS policy and participating in the implementation of EHS management system.
•Undertake any other projects or future tasks and duties as assigned by the Manager.
•Innovatively continue provide new ideas to enhance and improve existing process control system to better system.
[REQUIREMENTS]
•Qualification: Bachelor or Masters or PHD Degree in Engineering or Science.
•Experience: Preferably with ≥ 8 years’ experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing environment and knowledge/experience in relevant field of application is mandatory.
•Behavioral Competencies:
a)Strong administration skills – planning/organizing/, coordination & documentation.
b)Good communication skills – fluent in English, written and spoken.
c)Customer service skills – serve internal/external customers
d)Team work and collaboration skills.
•Technical/ Functional Competencies:
a)Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
b)Facilitation and presentation skills (for future).
c)Understanding on the design and development of training preferred.
d)Should be a technical expert in his own field to handle both routine and non-routine matters.
e)Strong analytical skills and problem solving skill using 8D/DOE
